IGU Meerpur Organises Patriotic Poem Pecitation, Declamation Contest


Indira Gandhi University (IGU) in Meerpur organized patriotic poem-cum-song recitation and declamation contest today.

Students of all the branches of the university shared in the event with full passion. They presented their opinions about the present political setup of the country and to make India the super power of the world.

Prof Maya Malik, DSW of the Indira Gandhi University (IGU) in Meerpur, up-to-date that Heena Dhandha, Harsha Kumari and Mona won the first, second and third place in the patriotic poem-cum-song recitation opposition. Priyanka Yadav, Shiv Shankar and Neeraj won the first, second and third position in declamation contest, individually.

Rewari MLA Randhir Singh Kaprivaas was the chief guest on the time. Mohinder Kumar, vice chancellor of the university, presided over the prize sharing function.

Speaking on the occasion, Kaprivaas confident the varsity specialists to provide every possible help from the government for the development of the university.

He also broadcast that the road leading to the Indira Gandhi University (IGU) in Meerpur would be extended, besides improving the bus services on the route, so that students do not to face problem in getting the university.
